Chapel End are taking part in the UK Government’s Kickstart Scheme. 

The scheme offers young people, who are at risk of long-term unemployment, the opportunity to take part in a work placement where they will develop new skills to enable them to move into sustained employment at the end of the programme.To apply for a Kickstart role at Chapel End you must:

Have been referred by your Job Centre Plus Work Coach.

• Be aged 16-24 years old and in receipt of Universal Credit.

• Be able to work for 25 hours per week. Please note we are not able to progress any applications for candidates who do not meet the above criteria and checks will be made to confirm eligibility.


Our Kickstart role is an exciting opportunity comprising of a 6-month paid work placement with Chapel Ends’ Reception / Admin team, which will give you an opportunity to develop your IT skills, timekeeping, communication, organisational and team working skills. 

You do not need any previous experience to apply, but if you come and work with us, we'll ask you to commit to our vision of:

You will be responsible for handling general enquires, explaining surgery procedures, making new and follow up appointments.Handling telephone enquiries, booking appointments, recording requests for home visits. Data Entry, Updating computer records, scanning, using emails and other general office duties.

This is achieved through excellent customer service and the delivery of patients services which are designed to meet the needs of our patients. Working as part of a friendly and well-respected team, your role will be varied and rewarding.

We promote ongoing professional development of staff and offer In house training and support to perform the tasks and duties involved and to ensure your knowledge and skills remain up-to-date.
